Competition for the Samsung Galaxy Note 4
Friendly Fire; which one will carry the day in 2014 between the Galaxy S5 and the Galaxy Note 4Samsung has always been one to flourish when faced with competition; even when the competition is from home. The most anticipated devices of 2014 from Samsung are the Samsung Galaxy S5 and the Samsung Galaxy Note 4. These two are set to face off in the gadget world in just a matter of months. What some people are wondering is which one will outdo the other. If Samsung does what it does best, then this race will be a tough one. Even though the two devices are not technically the same, it would still be interesting to see how that plays out.
The S5 is predicted to be released earlier in the year. It’s not clear whether that’s a good thing or not. For one, people will have the chance to sample it first. That means that whatever features come packed in the S5 will be the advantage. The Note 4 is set to come out later that year. The advantage of this is that there will be some time to make some improvements from the feedback that Samsung gets from the S5.
One feature that is rumored to come in the S5 is the Android latest update, the Android KitKat. That means the S5 will roll it out earlier than the Galaxy Note 4. This is bad news for the Note 4. Why? Because the S5 will have already used the OS as a selling point. The Note 4 wouldn’t have the chance to take advantage of that.
The advantage that the Note 4 has is that with its late release, the new technologies that Samsung is said to be working on will be more than ready. The ultra sensitive camera for one. If the S5 is not lucky enough to get the new cameras, then they will definitely come in the Note 4. The wireless charging too is another thing. The magnetic resonance technology will be done when the Galaxy Note 4 comes out. That means another plus for the Galaxy Note 4.
Both devices will have a lot of expectations to live up to. For instance consumers are expecting both devices to get some changes in the body. People are rooting for the full metal or aluminum back casing for both devices. By the look of things, the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 will have better chances in this gadget war. That however is something that remains to be seen over time.
